Before qualifying as an RICS Surveyor & Valuer, I served 13 years in the British Army as a Royal Engineer. I spent a lot of time in various environments across various countries. Each one conditioned me into the person I have become today. Values and standards are the foundations of a good soldier and, of course, a good person. We learnt about these in the Army and displayed them at all times. We should all think hard about the values we wish to live by because that makes the world better. I have listed my top four values below, as I want to be held accountable.
